Not
a club, a meeting, a church (as we know it) but a network of
like minded people actively encouraging each other to make positive
impacts into the whole area of the arts, media, music and fashion.
With concerns for justice at their core 148 represents an alternative
prayer network for alternative lifestyles. 148 also heads up
the popular GLOBAL LOUNGE which presents top live acts with
some of the finest spiritual musicians & soulful dj's. It
takes place in a brand new venue every Sunday lunchtime, 1.00pm
on the last Sunday of the month at the 'Spit'z Bar in Spitalfields
Market, in London's East End.

Many people find themselves in need of help at one time or another
during their lives. A.R.C's exists to serve the wider
community in helping people through the difficulties they face.
A.R.C.'s also facilitates both foundational & advanced training
courses in counselling in association with Barnabus Training
Consortium, and the courses are accredited by C.T.I / Open College
Network.

A
non-political organisation working in justice, arts and education
within the UK. J.A.E. works extensively in London
through it's education programme, established to encourage all
to foster and facilitate attitudes of responsibility towards
issues of injustice. Exciting developments to their work in
London include school conferences, lessons & assemblies,
as well as forming a Youth Forum empowering young people to
be involved in action. www.jaeproject.org.uk

L.T.C. was formed in response to the realisation of a
growth in training & recognised need for training within
the UK. We saw training opportunities that the church
could & should facilitate, for example I.T., Business &
Administration, as well as Child Care & Education.
We have been able to use these training programmes most effectively
so far, to assist those who have entered our wider network through
our work with the care system. We believe this offers
us the chance to model an investment into people, many who have
now received skills that open new doors and opportunities to
them.

P.C.C. Is behind much of the support work the church
does within the community. It's ethos is inclusion and
our open homes, foster care, Asylum project & some support
work for projects abroad all echo this belief. P.C.C.
provides accommodation for refugees with the church working
in partnership with Haringey Council and Central Government.
With some 700 U.A.M's (unaccompanied minors) in Haringey alone
seeking refuge, we are propelled to lend our support and take
initiative. A key worker for each person will help them
find their feet, get training, jobs, education and let them
know that both them as individuals and the risks they took are
important. Currently we have 4 homes for 16-18 year
olds, and have one home for those in the vulnerable 18+ age
group.

Education will always be the building blocks of life, at the
Rainbow we take education very seriously. The Beehive
School & Nursery exists for that very reason, to install
in each child the joys of learning, self worth, moral values
and develop their independence and ability to make the right
choices towards others. The Rainbow have a proven history
in providing very acceptable alternatives to the current state
school options. You can receive information regarding both the
Nursery & the School as well as arranging to be shown around
by contacting them directly on 020 7686
7514.
