BREAK-OUT
Rainbow Church recently changed it's format to meet predominately in cell groups twice weekly.  This we feel will allow us to strengthen our identity as church in the communities in which we live. We also believe that God has a need to use every member of the church in spreading a little light about the place, how easy it is to get lost in a large crowd.

YOUTH
The children are the church of tomorrow!!  Rainbow, however also firmly believe that the children are in fact, the church of today as well!!  They have so much to teach us about faith & dependence, so we make sure they are included & represented in much of what we do.

CELLS
We currently have cell groups that meet in Islington, Tottenham & Edmonton.  As our kids are so important to us we have encouraged their own cell which is well resourced and looked after.  SPARKLERS 5 - 7 year olds & 2YL'S 8 year olds and over currently meet twice a month, other times they meet in a Tottenham cell and are encouraged to input where possible.

FOSTER CARING
With some 30,000 to 40,000 young people currently being looked after by local councils and the same number on the 'at risk' register, gives us approximately 60 - 80,000 young people who are in desperate need of some Good News. Foster care and Supported Lodgings (supporting 16 - 18 year olds) are both areas of support many within the Rainbow have been involved with for years now.  Adrian Hawkes chairs the Haringey Foster Care Association & with his wife are both used as consultants on issues of care and training for Carers in Haringey.

WINDOW'S GATHERING
On the first Sunday of each month, all the cell groups meet together at a gathering in Wood Green we have called Windows.  The name quite simply emphasises that we offer a window for people to see God at work in the lives of those who know him.  It's creative and interactive with an unpredictable format. Live music, art and honesty is on display and it's hard to believe that anyone can remain the same once they have experienced Jesus. CRECHE & TGI's
Thank God It's Sunday!  That's the feeling our kids have when they arrive at our monthly gathering 'Windows'.  We provide both a creche for the very young children & TGI's, a youth meeting for 5 yr olds and up to encourage them to seek a deeper knowledge and relationship with God.

TRAINING
We are outrageous in our ambition to be 'Christ-Like' in all we do, be it at home with family & friends, at work or simply while going about our day to day business.  Jesus empowers us, as he did his early disciples with a belief and commission that we are called to represent the King & his Kingdom in all we do.  To seek first the Kingdom as stressed by Jesus in Matt 6 vs 33, will always prove to be a challenge.  Rainbow’s training seeks to help through providing training & discussion forums, to encourage a healthy representation of both scripture & spirituality and how these can be outworked day to day.
